After leaving school & collage at the age of 17. I started my Magic career as a Magician’s Assistant.

This took me all around the World on luxury cruise liners and I was the supporting artist  to Tom O Connor, Gary Wilmot, , Bernie Winters and the Platters in theatres across the country and at the Lakeside Country Club.

In 1989 I became the Magician working as a Children’s Entertainer.

I was given financial assistance by The Prince’s Youth Business Trust to set up my Business as a Magician and in 1992 was the first recipient of Trust help to be invited  onto the Board of the North Wales Prince’s Youth Business Trust.

In June 1999 Maria was invited to perform at the PYBT’s launch of its new expansion plan at a fundraising event held in Battersea Park London attended by -:

Prince Charles, Prime Minister Tony Blair & William Hague.

In 2006 Maria was invited to become a Role Model on a project run by the Welsh Government.

Big Ideas Wales involves me going into Schools, Colleges, Universities and Community Projects. Encouraging young people to think in entrepreneurial ways whether they choose to work for themselves or others.
